Summer Schedule Ends and Off Season Streaming Begins

Tomorrow, Friday September 2nd is the last day of our 2011 summer season. Our plan was to shut down for the off-season, however we have decided to continue streaming until the end of the year. It will be an off-season version of Cove FM. It will still feature all the great music you love, and we will continue to update community event announcements, however there will be fewer live hosts and some of the programming will change slightly. We will also introduce some new programming, produced by others to fill in some of the gaps. The first of these "new" shows will be Treasure Island Oldies. This is an show produced in Canada and hosted by Michael Godin. It fits our format well and will air on Saturday nights from 8pm till midnight. The first one will air this week.
We will be moving our studios this weekend, but the service interruption will be very brief, less than ten minutes. Tune in this weekend to hear lots of great music and some gems we don't play very often. Thanks for listening and supporting Cove FM.
